Pull-Down Work Gripper

Kitagawa's PLS series pull-down work grippers offer part stability during machining center operations. Consistent gripping forces along with axial, pull-down actuation, provide accurate length control on the Z axis. An alternative to conventional jigs, the grippers are suitable for a variety of workholding applications and are sealed against chip and coolant contamination.

Kitagawa's PLS series pull-down work grippers offer part stability during machining center operations. Consistent gripping forces along with axial, pull-down actuation, provide accurate length control on the Z axis. An alternative to conventional jigs, the grippers are suitable for a variety of workholding applications and are sealed against chip and coolant contamination. An optional seating detection system is designed for automated processes requiring feedback from the workholding device, ensuring correct part location.

The series is available in 4", 6" and 8" diameters. Two or more units can be grouped together for more productivity.
