Top Automazioni's bar feeders' design features include automatically adjustable bar size compensation that eliminates the need to purchase channel guides or bearing blocks. The bar feed eliminates the need for spindle liners, and a base slide system for moving the bar feed away from the lathe for maintenance is standard on every machine.
In addition, the company offers what it calls its "Outrageous, More Than Your Money Back, Risk-Free, No-Strings Guarantee," which ensures the potential customers that the bar feed will do everything that TOP says or the customer can return the machine and pay absolutely nothing. Brad Boatright, general manager of Top Automazioni North America adds, "If the customer's not thrilled, we'll even let them use our feeder until they can get an alternative installed and give them a box of steaks for their hassle. But it's a great product, so we're sure we won't be buying any steaks."
The company began in Italy in 2000. The company installed 410 bar feeders in 2006 and expects to install more than 500 in 2007.
