In addition, its back-working, 8-station tool block features a full Y axis for independent, overlapping operation with the subspindle. The machine’s controls, additional tools and various options are said to streamline the machining process.
According to the company, the SW-20’s opposing, gang-type tool post, 8-station backworking tool post and Y-axis functionality enables users to have three tools in the cut for productive machining of complex components.
