Based on the success of the company’s V-65E pneumatic short loader, the servo short loader utilizes the same shell and overall compact 470-lb design, footprint and other features. Updated Mitsubishi controls and servomotor, combined with simplified programming, operate the equipment. The components raise the level of performance and part processing options to include sub-spindle mode; variable and controllable speeds on feeding and retracting; variable feeding torque based on bar weight and length, and shaft loading. All components are controlled from a digital touch screen. Used on fix headstock lathes, the accommodated barstock range is 0.25" to 2.65" with spindle length less than 48". The 25.5" material tray will provide as much as 100 lineal feet of 1" bar processing and is engineered for easy spindle linear change-over on the included double guide rod, x-axis sliding rail. Three bar pushers are also standard equipment.
