With CGTech's CNC machine simulation software, Vericut 6.1, users can eliminate the process of manually proving out CNC programs.

In this latest version, NC Program Review is integrated into the software’s main desktop. When in review mode, users can navigate through NC program lines and replace or remove material when going back and or forth to identify and evaluate problem areas. Error messages and NC program text is highlighted when a collision to the stock or fixture is selected.

A new logger display shows messages in a scrolling list and organizes them by category. In addition, the Auto-Diff constant gouge check can look for a minimum amount of excess material relative to the design model. The MDI dialog now includes axis jog buttons and tool positioning by graphical picks, which can be used during planning stages to ensure that the machine will reach all necessary part features.

The software also includes tool enhancements as well as CAD/CAM interface updates. These updates can simplify verification of NC programs within the Unigraphics and CATV CAD/CAM systems.
