This addition compliments the existing Microbit tooling line and is now capable of meeting all small-diameter tooling requirements including ID or face grooving, boring/turning and threading.

This addition compliments the existing Microbit tooling line and is now capable of meeting all small-diameter tooling requirements including ID or face grooving, boring/turning and threading. The profiling tools allows users to cut intricate ID forms that require finer detail than can be achieved with standard boring or grooving tools, according to the company. These tools will be available in 1/8" 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" shank diameters, with neck lengths of 0.375", 0.625", 0.750", 1.00", 1.250" and 1.750". These tools are available with a variety of coatings including TiN, TiCN, TiAlN and diamond.
