The Microbit solid carbide tools include small bore profiling as small as 0.125" and it can meet small-diameter tooling requirements including ID or face grooving, boring/turning and threading.

The tools will allow users to cut intricate ID forms that require finer detail than can be achieved with standard boring or grooving tools, according to the company. These tools will be available in 1/8" 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" shank diameters, with neck lengths of 0.375", 0.625", 0.750", 1.00", 1.250" and 1.750". These tools are available with a variety of coatings including TiN, TiCN, TiAIN and diamond.
