SmartCAM CAM Connection v12.1 software provides SmartCAM customers updated IGES-surface data translation.
The software adds surface translation from solids, along with the wire-frame translation provided in version 12.0. The Advanced Milling and FreeForm Machining provide surface machining capabilities that take advantage of the update IGES translation capabilities.
The FreeForm Machining and Advanced Milling customers will now be able to companion their products with CAD modeling packages such as SolidWorks or Solid Edge.
