A solid carbide system for reaming diameters of 1.72" (43.6 mm) to 3.96" (100.6 mm), the Urma CircoTec RX line of reamers is available from Command Tooling Systems. Available in diameters ranging from 0.468" (11.9 mm) to 3.960" (100.9 mm), the reamers are said to be particularly useful for applications with tight hole-tolerance requirements.
Available in both straight shank and the company’s Beta Modul system, the reamers are designed to be easily adjusted and changed. The inserts, available in carbide or cermet, have multiple cutting edges, resulting in repeatability of less than 4 microns in runout. They come uncoated or with various coatings to meet specific manufacturing requirements.
