The FX-4 stereo microscope combines long focal length, a large field of view and distortion-free vision with a large depth of field (as much as 3/16” at 10×) to produce revealing 3D views. The microscope also features an adjustable stand for all situations and is designed for assembly operations, manufacturing of electronic components, micro-welding, burring, botany and other research applications, and inspection of printed circuits, wire, textiles and other quality control purposes.
 
According to Titan Tool, the new microscope achieves resolution of 57 to 128 line pairs per millimeter using a 10× eyepiece and 80.6 to 161 resolution with a 20× eyepiece. The unit is equipped with an aluminum stand with a round plastic and white base plate; a rack-and-pinion focusing arrangement, adjustable to 6” height above the base plate; a binocular tube that’s inclined at a 45-degree angle with diopter adjustment and variable adjustment for inter-pupillary distance; an eyepiece with an extra-wide field of 10× standard (20× is also available); objectives that include a 2× internal standard; and available 0.5×, 1.5×, and 2× supplemental.
 
There are six different magnifications possible, with the purchase of one extra set of eyepieces, and three objectives.
