Iscar's Mini-Tangslot line of tools are slotting cutters that carry tangentially clamped inserts with four cutting edges. The design of the chip former helps to reduce cutting forces and leaves a clean, undamaged surface. It is possible to machine within ± 0.0031" while using these slotting cutters. Chatter is also reduced, thereby helping to improve tool life.

The Mini-Tangslot tools are available as the SDN D -LN08 disk-type cutters or the ETS D -LN08 T-slot cutters with integral shanks and internal coolant holes. The SDN D -LN08 disk-type cutters are available in 2.50" to 5.00" diameters, and the ETS D -LN08 cutters are available in 1.25" to 2.50" diameters. Flexfit connection tools are also available with the ETS D -LN08 M T-slot cutters.
