Schunk’s Tendo Platinum toolholder offers durablity, user friendliness and precision for almost any milling, drilling and reaming application. The toolholder offers improved brazing technology by using a unique brazing and hardening process all in the same cycle.

Tendo Platinum is manufactured from the highest grade tool steel and through-hardened to ensure long life, the company says. The toolholder is balanced to G2.5 at 25,000 rpm. With excellent vibration dampening and precise runout accuracy of less than 0.003 mm (0.0001”) at 2.5 × clamping diameter, the toolholder protects the machine spindle and the cutting tool from wear and damage.

Schunk offers three lengths with two precision ground taper sizes: CAT40 – 2.5”, 4”, 6”; CAT50 – 81 mm, 4”, 6”. The company also offers direct clamping in both metric and inch sizes.
