The 25-ton Robo Roller is an automated production system for rolling threads, knurls, worms and other forms on bolts, shafts and similar parts. It integrates a Fanuc robot with the Kinefac MC-15 FI (CNC) Kine-Roller, which provides automated rolling capability from a pallet system, a bulk feed unit, hopper feed or a conveyorized system.
The Kine-Trol CNC system provides control of the rolling cycle and the part handling. The operator enters the thread size, thread length, blank and rolling die specifications to establish the rolling cycle. The operator performs the die matching sequence, which automatically puts dies in phase.
