Hydromat introduces a tool designed to enhance the operation of its complete line of rotary transfer machines. The Harmonic 200 tool holder balancer will make any Hydromat balanceable tool holder stable by reducing or offsetting imbalance. This is accomplished by adding two eccentric rings for counterbalance and removing any imperfections.

This compact, full-function unit goes form box-to-bench in minutes, with no special foundation necessary. The touchscreen controls and laser pointer assists the operator in removing 95 percent of imbalance in the tool and toolholder.

Balancing a toolholder can be accomplished in five steps: 1) Set the toolholder in the unit without the rings; 2) run the unit through a cycle; 3) set rings to specified positions; 4) run a balance check; 5) reposition rings to specified positions for fine tuning. Now the tool and toolholder is balanced.
