According to Heartech Precision, Inc., purchasing complete tooling packages is a cost-effective way for manufacturers to provide the most tooling flexibility when tooling up new machines as well as providing job shops with the ability to handle the variety of machining that is characteristic of that type of business. For those reasons, the company has introduced two tooling packages.

The standard Value Package is available in CAT40 or BT40 toolholder shanks. It includes a variety of HEM end mill holders, ER collet checks and a shell mill holder. More specifically, the package includes one of each HEM end mill holders in 1/4", 3/4" and 1" sizes; two ERI 6 and ER32 collet chucks; and one HFD25.4 1" capacity shell mill holder.

Also available is the Value Package Plus. This CAT40 or BT40 package includes the same end mill holders, collet checks and shell mill holders as the Standard Package, but it also has additional collet sets and the necessary wrenches for the toolholders.
