The Haas TM-3P toolroom mill is based on the Haas TM-3, but has many standard features that make it well suited for the production environment. It comes "out of box" with faster speeds, an automatic toolchanger and a full enclosure.

The TM-3P's reliable 7.5-hp vector drive spindle spins to 6,000 rpm and uses standard 40-taper tools. Rapid and cutting feed rates are 400 ipm, double that on the non-enclosed TM-3. The TM-3P operates on either single- or three-phase power, and a one-piece cast-iron base/column damps vibration.

A number of high-productivity options are available for the toolroom mill, including an auger-style chip conveyor, 20-pocket toolchanger, high-flow coolant system, fourth and fifth axis drives, and more.
