Haas toolroom mills are available in three sizes. Travels are 30" x 12" x 16" for the TM-1, 40" x 16" x 16" for the TM-2 and 40" x 20" x 16" for the TM-3. For production work, fully enclosed versions of the TM-1 and TM-3 are available as the TM-1P and TM-3P.

The TM Series machines are equipped with 7.5-hp vector drive spindles that use standard 40-taper tools, and they run on single- or three-phase power. Cast-iron construction damps vibration and provides rigidity, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. Large T-slot tables provide plenty of room for workholding and larger parts, as well as rotary tables and 5C indexers. A 15" color LCD monitor and USB port are standard.

All of these toolroom mills come with the company’s Intuitive Programming System—a conversational operating system with a graphical interface that makes them easy to program, set up and operate without knowledge of G-code. It allows manual machinists to easily transition into full-CNC operation and simplifies programming and operation for experienced CNC machinists.

Standard TM models feature spindle speeds to 4,000 rpm and 200-ipm rapids. A ten-pocket toolchanger is available for all three models, and a 20-pocket toolchanger is available for the TM-2 and TM-3.

The fully enclosed TM-1P and TM-3P come standard with a ten-pocket toolchanger, and offer spindle speeds to 6,000 rpm and 400-ipm rapids for faster production and shorter cycle times. A 20-pocket toolchanger upgrade is available for the TM-3P.

A number of high-productivity options are available for these machines, including a high-flow coolant system, fourth- and fifth-axis drives, rigid tapping and much more.
