The company will feature its new computer-based training (CBT) program for Vista, a software solution for small job shops. Vista Getting Started CBT is a powerful, interactive CD-ROM that empowers customers to learn the software faster and more efficiently, often at their own computers. This enables companies to speed implementation times, reduce the risk associated with deploying new software and incur great ease-of-use. This program has an interactive interface that allows customers to more easily become engaged and learn the product more efficiently. Video, audio and graphical components improve the level of information retention. Employees are trained via a multimedia online tutorial to use basic functions within Vista, including example implementation tasks and software lessons. In addition to teaching basic information about the software, Getting Started CBT also provides printouts, exercises and pop quizzes to further engage employees. The company also offers Web-based training. Through the Internet, customers are able to log on the company's education Web site and participate in two-hour training sessions from their own own desktops. Sessions include modules or job control, visual scheduling, estimating and quoting, data collection, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, Vista basic, form designer and more.
