The SV-200 and SV-1000 are servo-controlled, linear tool stroking systems said to ensure precise bore geometry. The tool stroking system produces a true vertical stroke, which is said to result in more control and higher accuracy in bore size and finish. With this new stroke design, users can obtain a consistent cross-hatch pattern throughout the length of the bore. This design allows the machine to dwell in any part of the bore, end-to-end, selectively removing stock for the straightest, most precise bore possible, says the company.
