The R-O Vision is an in-process video measuring system that is portable, compact and machine mountable; it can easily be moved from one piece of equipment to another or used on a surface table. This system, with simple menu-driven functions, is viewed on a large 15" LCD flat screen color monitor. The manual zoom lens, offering operator magnification selection between 6 × to 32 ×, allows for sharp images, and combined with a pixel-by-pixel line measurement movement, the lens offers greater tolerance capabilities. The system's field of view ranges from 3/64" to 2.5" with working distances of 3.5" up to 14". Projects requiring larger monitors, greater magnifications and more field of view can be obtained upon reviewing a customer's specific specification with the company's technical support group.
With the R-O Vision, an operator can check linear measurements, angles, radius and areas through nine line measurement styles, drag functions and calibrated and positional grids/targets with tolerances of ± 0.001. To further help an operator, R-O Vision offers on-screen calibrated rulers, freehand drawing and calculator capabilities. It also allows downloading of measurement data to printers and computers or saving the data on a video capture card and printed out for a file record.
