Balinit Helica is suitable for common steel and cast iron qualities, for internal and external cooling, for dry machining or with minimum quantity lubrication.

Coatings For Cutting Applications
Balinit Helica and Balinit Alcrona are two types of aluminum chromium nitride (ALCrN) coatings, both of which are part of the G6 line. According to the company, ALCrN-based coatings are more oxidation resistant and have greater hot hardness than conventional coatings. The first of the two products is suitable for common steel and cast iron qualities, as well as for internal or external cooling.
