8-Axis Gang Tool Bar Machine with Subspindle
Intertech Worldwide’s Model 42-12 LTSS eight-axis CNC gang tool bar machine with 1 5/8" diameter bar capacity features a 10- to 15-hp servo main spindle drive with 4,000-rpm standard, 6,000-rpm optional, a 5- to 7.5-hp servo subspindle drive and Mitsubishi Servo drives for all axis movements.

Ten-Axis Bar Turning Center
The HiTurn 65 10X CNC bar turning center features ten-axis capability for 2 5/8" bar work. The tooling configurations include a 12-station, three-axis turret, a four-station, two-axis turret and a separate cutoff slide for operations on the main spindle and a 12-station, single-axis turret for machining operations on the subspindle, allowing complete part machining from barstock. The machine features two 2 5/8" capacity liquid cooled spindles to ensure high-quality operation.

CNC Gang Tool Bar Machine
The new four-axis CNC 1 5/8” bar machining center with a subspindle that uses a three-sided tool platen featuring nine live tools (three on each side), six stationary drill holders, eight turning holders plus a separate cutoff toolholder for parts production at one location. A third axis combined with gang tooling allows the model 42-9 LSS to function as a productive alternative to standard two-axis gang tool lathes or lathes with turrets, the company says. The 24 tools in a small area is said to minimize the travel distance from tool to tool for faster parts production while the addition of the Y axis allows for easy tool centerline adjustment through simple tool offsets.
