PCD With Chipformers For Turning And More
The PCD (ID5) inserts with chip formers for turning, profiling and grooving from Iscar are primarily designed for the finishing and semi-finishing cut on aluminum wheels, but can be used for other applications where better chip control is required. The inserts improve chipbreaking when compared with flat top PCD inserts as well as provide better surface finish at high cutting speeds.
