Committed to Manufacturing Excellence
![]() |
Mazak manufactures the most productive machine tools in the world. We meet standards of precision and reliability that are second to none in products, development, and manufacturing. All six manufacturing facilities in Japan, the US, England, and Singapore meet the high standard of machine quality we insist on. By producing machines close to the market, we understand what our customers need to gain a competitive edge. This ability to match products to the market requirements allows us to produce innovative, high performance machines at a reasonable price. Agile manufacturing in all our factories provides consistent, high quality-machine tools. The Mazak National Technology Center is a vital mechanism that links diverse technologies with ideas, knowledge and experience to develop, prove and demonstrate solutions to manufacturing challenges. This is a knowledge based facility presenting a stream of ideas for stimulating customers' thoughts about advanced manufacturing through technology seminars. Working closer to our customers, Mazak Regional and Distributor Technical Centers become an extension of the National Technology Center for exchanging issues, ideas and solutions.

Contract Manufacturing - Traditional job shops have had to evolve into leaner, more flexible operations to stay competitive - and even stay alive. And here at Mazak, we've made substantial changes in the way we make machine tools, in order to continue making advanced technologies available to all.
Automotive Machining - The shift to lean manufacturing has replaced dedicated machines with more flexible systems. Maximizing uptime has been key to reducing part costs. Done-In-One machining has reduced WIP inventories and improved cash flow. Our turnkey approach to manufacturing has created opportunities for companies to improve their bottom line like never before.
Medical Machining - The parts are small- to medium-sized and precise. The machine tools that make them are required to perform intricate operations with outstanding surface finishes and unquestionable repeatability. In this world of medical parts, Mazak presents an opportunity for you to really shine.
Aerospace Machining - Aerospace parts present some unique challenges, which is one reason we opened the Mazak Technology Center in Gardena, CA, in 1989. As a part of our National Technology Network, its intent is to continuously improve the machining process while providing application support to the aerospace industry.
