Runout-Adjustable Toolholders
NT Tool’s CTZ R-Zero runout-adjustable toolholders for large-diameter cutting tools use the company’s original four-point adjustment mechanism, which allow runout at the tool tip that can be easily adjusted to as little as 0 - 2 micrometers on cutting tools with shank diameters from 25 - 42 mm (or 1” - 1.5”).
Toolholders With One-Touch Axial Adjustment
The SDM toolholders feature one-touch drill length adjustment without the need for hand tools. Drill projection length can be adjusted by hand by rotating the knurled guide ring on the outside of the toolholder.
Tap Holding System With One-Touch Axial Adjustment
NT USA Corporation's STM tap holding system features one-touch axial adjustment without the need for tools. With the system, tap projection length can be adjusted simply by hand-rotating the guide ring on the outside of the toolholder. Axial adjustment range varies depending on the size of the STM toolholder, but is as high as 15 mm (0.
Coolant-Though Toolholder Collets
NT Tool Corporation has introduced a line of 100TG coolant collets that deliver coolant to the tool up to a maximum pressure of 1,000 psi.
These collets feature a one-piece steel design with short slots that prevent coolant from reaching the face of the collet. This eliminates the need for rubber or silicone seals, allowing for greater coolant pressure, according to the company.
