SKILLED MANUFACTURING WORKFORCE PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
The Student Ambassador Program is a bookshelf-size kit includes a 14-minute video tape entitled "Careers in Metalforming" promoting careers in the metalforming industry, a 2-page flyer entitled "Choices" which describes common career paths in the industry and provides average salaries for various job descriptions, and a "Teachers Guide" with sample exercises and discussion questions.
The At School Newsletter is a free, periodic e-newsletter to keep educators abreast of recent activities related to career promotion and workforce development.
Annual Student Day at METALFORM offers students and their instructors an orientation session hosted by metalforming industry representatives followed by the opportunity to tour the show floor and see first-hand the newest in technology, equipment, and services.
