Even though this high-quality of carbide (SCSMC) is more expensive than inferior grades of carbide, SCT tools cost less to purchase. This surprising fact has been accomplished through years of capital reinvestment in the state-of-the-art grinding equipment used by SCT. The cost savings in producing cutting tools by SCT is passed along to its customers. SCT's CNC tool and cutter grinders also provide quality and consistency that are unmatched in the industry. Additionally, all thread mills and porting tools are ground between centers in order to establish absolute concentricity.
