  • Toolholder Adapters

The company has expanded its selection of adapters for the Mini-Bore, Microbit and MiniGroove ‘N Turn lines of tooling. The new adapters are available with 3/4" and 1" outside diameters and 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" inner diameters.  .

  • Addition to Toolholder Line

Groove n’ Turn toolholders offer a new holder available in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" diameters. It has a 1. 250" minimum bore and holds inserts with cutting depths to 0.

  • Round Internal Toolholders

Thinbit by Kaiser Tool Company has expanded its selection of internal Groove N’ Turn toolholders. The holders are available in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" diameters. They have a 1.

  • Indexable Boring Bars--Thinbit

Thinbit expanded its selection of Mini-Bore indexable boring bars to include carbide trigon bars. These bars have superior rigidity and yield better surface finishes, deeper cutting depths and longer extension ratios.

  • Small Bore Profiling And Back Turning

Thinbit's Microbit solid carbide tools now include small-bore profiling and back turning down to 0. 125" minimum bore. This addition compliments the existing Microbit tooling line and is now capable of meeting all small-diameter tooling requirements including ID or face grooving, boring/turning and threading.

  • Groove And Turn Toolholder System Replaces Exisitng Toolholder Styles

Thinbit, manufactured by Kaiser Tool Company, simplifies its product offering with the new Groove 'n Turn toolholder system. Specially designed to work with Groove 'n Turn inserts, this toolholder will replace several existing toolholder styles. These toolholders can be used on conventional, Swiss and CNC machines to hold grooving and face grooving inserts in sizes from 0.

  • Custom Grooving Tools

Thinbit's Design-A-Groove tooling is modified according to a customer's specific application requirements. Application engineers provide design assistance, price quotations and follow-up technical support. Special configurations include face grooving geometry, full or corner radius, increased depth of cut, chamfering, chip control, top rakes and many other customized geometric combinations.

  • Small Bore Tools

The Microbit solid carbide tools include small bore profiling as small as 0. 125" and it can meet small-diameter tooling requirements including ID or face grooving, boring/turning and threading. The tools will allow users to cut intricate ID forms that require finer detail than can be achieved with standard boring or grooving tools, according to the company.

  • Acme-Threading Profiles

Thinbit has expanded its selection of Microbit solid carbide tools to include acme-threading profiles. Designed to cut thread sizes 6, 10, 12, 14 and 16 TPI in diameters from 3/16" to 1/2". The tools have geometry to cut a specific thread profiles, or the lathe can be set to cut alternate thread sizes.

  • Fast Grooving Geometry

Thinbit's Design-A-Groove tooling is modified according to a customer's specific application requirements. Application engineers provide design assistance, price quotations and follow-up technical support. Special configurations include face grooving geometry, full or corner radius, increased depth of cut, chamfering, chip control, top rakes and other customized geometric combinations.
