Kotem Ltd., a division of Quality Vision International Inc. (QVI), releases SmartProfile 2.0—the new version of its GD&T evaluation software. SmartProfile provides fast, accurate analysis of measured data compared with a part’s CAD model using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, the company says. SmartProfile is designed to be used to confirm design intent for shape, form, profile, orientation and location on any rigid part. The software works with point cloud data from any measurement system and Version 2.0 includes the SmartViewer interactive point cloud viewer to quickly visualize measured data as a color overlay on top of a CAD model.
