On Wednesday, April 3, from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m., Olaf Tessarzyk, president of ZPS, will be discussing how to determine the need for a cam or CNC multispindle machine. He’ll also be going over the pros and cons relating to each type of machining process based upon specific part examples. Visit Booth 1030.

From 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. that same day, in Booth 2012, Guy Metz, national product manager for NomuraSwiss at Gosiger, will present the hand-scraped dovetail slide concept that improves part quality as well as operator friendliness with extra machining space, and provides quick tool changes with a presetting device. Gosiger will have four models at the booth, all Swiss lathes, including a 10-mm 5-axis, 20-mm 6-axis, 32-mm with B, and a 38-mm 5-axis.

Attend PMTS 2019, April 2-4, at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, Cleveland, Ohio. For more information and to register, go to PMTS.com.
