Haas Automation Launches Cutting Tool Distributor
Haas Tooling created to provide machinists with a direct channel for purchasing cutting tools.
Haas Automation’s Gene Haas launched Haas Tooling, a machine cutting tool distributor designed to provide machinists with a direct channel for purchasing cutting tools. The ability to directly order cutting tools will help improve efficiencies at machine shops, according to the company.
The company created videos and provides cutting data for every tool available for purchase through the HaasTooling.com website. The cutting tools sold on the website work for all brands of CNC machines, according to the company. Items are not specific to Haas-branded CNC machines.
Additionally, Autodesk software has integrated the ability to purchase Haas Tooling components directly from its Fusion 360 software. The integration goal is to create an end-to-end workflow process to further help make machine shops more efficient.
