Heller Group has appointed Kenneth Goodin as the president and CEO of Heller US effective July 1, 2018, upon the retirement of Keith Vandenkieboom. Mr. Goodin joined Heller in January 2018 as vice president of program management. He brings experience in the machine tool industry to this assignment, as he has held positions of global director at Apex Tool and president/CEO at Dalian Ingersoll Machine Tools Co.

Other managers will maintain their roles at Heller. Mr. Goodin will have the support of John Korac, vice president of operations; Stephen Pegram, vice president of sales; Markus Schlipphak, vice president of proposals and engineering; and Steven Simser, CFO/vice president of finance.

Manfred Maier, Heller Group COO Heller GmbH, Nürtingen, Germany, says, “The new appointment will assure a smooth transition and seamless continuation of Heller policies and operations in the NAFTA market.”

Mr. Maier also thanks Mr. Vandenkieboom for his service to the Heller Group over the past 12 years, including his leadership in diversifying the company’s customer base into other industries. “In North America alone, Heller has installed more than 1,000 machine tools in the last several years, and we intend to expand, maintain and grow our ability to fully support Heller customers and help them maximize the productivity of Heller solutions over the long term,” Mr. Maier says. “Ken's appointment will help Heller continue its progress in this very important market.”
