The PMTS 2019 schedule includes a Tech Talk about improving businesses by using the right tools on Swiss-type machines and a showfloor demo of a hybrid machine.
If you are planning to attend PMTS 2019 this year, make sure to add some PMTS Tech Talks and showfloor demos to your schedule. These events can help attendees gain knowledge to help improve their company’s processes.
Jim Rowe, regional sales manager for GenSwiss, will present a Tech Talk titled “Improve Throughput and Quality with the Right Swiss Tools” at 2:00 p.m. on April 3 in the Tech Talk Theater at the back of Hall A. Mr. Rowe will draw on his more than 20 years of experience in the precision machining industry, which includes programming, setting up and managing CNC machine shops, cutting tool sales and applications, and providing tooling solutions, with special expertise in medical implant and instrumentation manufacturing. His Tech Talk will focus on how shops can use GenSwiss tools and accessories to improve their own businesses.
On April 4 at 11:30 a.m., Sandro Belpanno, Brinkman Products senior design engineer, will give a demo of Davenport’s new hybrid machine in booth #7013. The machine’s speed, robust chassis, fast setup times, easy operation and process capabilities enable it to handle tough alloys, according to the company.
