Marc Desrayaud Named Mikron Group CEO
Desrayaud has an in-depth market knowledge and experience, particularly in the tooling, automotive and watchmaking industries as well as in medical technology, the company says.
Mikron Group has named Marc Desrayaud CEO, effective June 1, 2021. Desrayaud earned a master’s degree in electronic/electrotechnic and industrial computers from the Université de Lyon. During his professional career, he has worked for a variety of Swiss companies in management positions, including ABB, Rieter Textile Machinery and Autoneum. Desrayaud has also held various positions at Oerlikon Balzers Coating AG since 2012. He most recently led its business unit, Balzers Industrial Solutions, which includes management of 5,500 employees worldwide and 114 service centers in 37 countries.
Desrayaud has an in-depth market knowledge and experience from his previous positions, particularly in the tooling, automotive and watchmaking industries as well as in medical technology, the company says.
