MiQ Partners, a custom automation and contract manufacturing firm, hired Olaf Tessarzyk as CEO to help lead the company through an era of market expansion and growth. Tessarzyk comes to MiQ Partners with years of experience in leading manufacturing companies to higher profitability by streamlining operational efficiencies, executing new product launches, leading sales and partnership activities, and customer service and branding initiatives.

Most recently, Tessarzyk spent nearly 13 years leading a startup machine tool manufacturer, ZPS America, to exceeding profitability goals in less than five years. Under his leadership, his team outsold competitors within just two years. As CEO of another manufacturing firm, he helped increase revenue by more than $50 million, a 280% increase, in less than three years.

“After an extensive search with a professional recruiting firm, we are very excited to announce that Olaf Tessarzyk has joined MiQ Partners to help lead an already promising company to new levels,” says Ki Mixon, partner of Resilience Capital which acquired MiQ Partners in 2019. “His knowledge and leadership record in the manufacturing space is second to none.”

Tessaryzk’s goals for MiQ Partners include expanding the company’s position and footprint as a leading manufacturing, build-to-print and custom automation partner for medical, life sciences, aerospace and other industries. With locations in Ohio and California, MiQ Partners serves numerous firms while leading the custom manufacturing industry to new standards for efficiencies, innovative problem solving, customer care, and production outcomes.

Tessarzyk has a degree in economics and business management from the University of Hamburg, and an advanced degree in mechanical engineering from the University of The Federal Armed Forces, also in Hamburg.

For many years, MiQ Partners operated as TSS Technologies and R&3D. In 2019, the two companies were integrated and rebranded as MiQ Partners to reflect the manufacturing intelligence and decades of experience delivered to clients across multiple industries.
