The Multus U3000 imultitasking two-saddle CNC lathe provides a platform for long-term rigidity and accuracy and can machine process-intensive parts, such as those in aerospace, automotive, oil/energy, medical and construction.
Okuma America Corp.’s Multus U3000 is a general purpose, multitasking two-saddle CNC lathe designed to reduce setup time, improve accuracy and keep non-cutting time to a minimum. The lathe provides a platform for long-term rigidity and accuracy and can machine process-intensive parts, such as those in aerospace, automotive, oil/energy, medical and construction.
The lathe has a maximum machining diameter of 25.6” and bed length of 39.4” and is equipped with a Okuma’s Intelligent Technologies and a variety of efficiency features. Optional five-axis machining is available for complex milling operations. It also comes equipped with the OSP-P300 control with a 19” monitor and the OSP suite and ECO suite applications.
