Seco Machine, a supplier of machined metal and cast urethane components, has achieved its re-certification under ISO 9001:2015.

ISO 9001:2015 defines the requirements for establishing, implementing and maintaining a documented quality management system and recognizes companies with systems in place to meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Seco was initially certified to the stringent standard in 2013 and began the internal process of re-certification two years ago by comparing its existing procedures against the new ISO requirements.

“This re-certification provides additional assurance to our customers that we are focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction,” says Tom Seccombe, vice president and general manager at Seco. “The commitment to quality and continuous improvement by all our employees enabled us to achieve this milestone.”

Established in 1985, Seco is a machine shop that provides contract machining services, including turning and milling of steel and iron castings and forgings. Seco also supplies custom-molded urethane products, including cast urethanes and molded urethane parts. The company, with in-house engineering and technical expertise, will soon be moving into a new 120,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution plant in Green, Ohio.
