Somma Tool Co. has announced the acquisition of the Max-Bar Tool Co. Max-Bar is known for manufacturing Swiss carbide cutting tools and holders. In recent years Max-Bar tooling has also been featured in Somma’s catalog as part of its product line. This product will now be made in the Somma facilities.
The Max-Bar product line provides toolholders and carbide inserts in six separate IC sizes for various manufacturing applications.
