The Up! Network is expanding its service outside of the U.S. Up! is now available in both Mexico and Canada, providing a direct link for industrial manufacturers to find service technicians for industrial machine maintenance and repair.

The company is continuing to grow by meeting the requests of industrial machinists in surrounding countries. “We were seeing an increase in the number of users requesting service options for Mexico and Canada,” says Dave Rhodes, Up! general manager. “After doing a thorough analysis of the market potential in Mexico and Canada, we felt the time was right to expand the UP! network.”

A recent study (Gardner Business Media - 2021) of the Latin American machine tool market revealed Mexico to be the 8th largest consumer of machines tools in the world, utilizing over 55% of the industrial machines in operation in the region. With the prominent role Mexico continues to play in the worldwide industrial manufacturing arena, coupled with a significant increase in requests from machinists in both Mexico and Canada, the expansion into these neighboring markets was a natural progression, the company says.

This expansion gives industrial machine tool operators in Canada and Mexico a dedicated source linking them to a large network of service providers, helping them better manage maintenance schedules while also providing repairs when needed, resulting in less downtime.
