Available from REM Sales, the latest model in Tsugami’s B0 Series of Swiss-type lathes is the B0326, a 6-axis, 32-mm machine featuring a chucker kit that enables users to operate without a guide bushing or bar feeder. According to the company, this capability reduces material costs and facilitates machining of short or prismatic parts. Developed specifically for the North American market, the machine features an ergonomic design that incorporates modular, live tooling for quick changeovers and a large work zone for accessibility. The dual-path FANUC 32i-B CNC is said to reduce cycle time by enabling true simultaneous operation of the main and subspindle. A back rotary tool is optional.
