The verifier can be used to automatically prevent improperly tapped holes from reaching assembly, saving production time and cost. The verifier reliably and consistently completes test cycles in seconds, adding no time to existing production cycles, and avoids the errors of manual gaging and inspection, the company says.

The verifier system checks threads for pitch diameter (oversized/undersized), proper depth (minimum/maximum), missing holes, broken tap, proper depth of pipe tapped holes and external threads. The automated system can stop production in seconds if a hole is not identified to the pre-established specification level.

The spindle can be added to an existing cell or product engineers will design and build a manual or automatic load turnkey system to fit the application.
