The HCS 70 carbide circular cold saw is designed to cut solid round materials up to 2.95" in diameter and tubing up to 3.2" in diameter. The saw uses carbide-tipped saw blades with diameters ranging from 9.8" to 12.4". With these blades, the saw can cut through 1.18" diameter 52100 chromium steel in 5 seconds and 3.5" diameter 4142 chrome-moly steel in 18 seconds. This model complements the HCS 90, HCS 130 and HCS 150 circular cold saws cutting materials up to 3.5", 5.1" and 5.9" respectively. Features include a sorting device, an automatic chip conveyor and an optional tilting loading magazine.
