Bar Feeder Instantly Synchronizes with Headstock

Bucci Industries will introduce the latest addition to its Iemca Boss line of heavy-duty automatic magazine bar feeders, the Bucci Boss IV, which is said to reduce bar-change time by as much as 40 percent.

Bucci Industries will introduce the latest addition to its Iemca Boss line of heavy-duty automatic magazine bar feeders, the Bucci Boss IV, which is said to reduce bar-change time by as much as 40 percent. The bar feeder provides instantaneous headstock synchronization with select Swiss-type lathes.

The Boss line includes bar feeders to accommodate barstock with diameters ranging from 3 to 38 mm (0.0118" to 1.496") and from 5 to 51 mm (0.196" to 2.001"), and in lengths ranging from 1 to 6 m (39.37" to 19 ft. 8"). The feeders are flexible enough to be used with either Swiss-type machines or fixed headstock lathes. According to the company, the feeders’ rugged design maximizes reliability, durability and precision.
