Benz Inc.’s Kool 1300 high-lubricity fluid is said to demonstrate production increase, low-foaming in high pressure applications, and reduced fluid and power consumption. The fluid is multi-metal compatible to support job shop needs. In addition, the fluid contains no chlorine, DCHA, secondary amines, or formaldehyde release biocide. The company says that because of these characteristics, the fluid will deliver higher productivity as a result of reduced cycle times. Additionally, the fluid is said to improve surface finish and tolerances as well as 20-50 percent tool life improvement to a range of metal cutting and grinding operations, according to the company.
