Big Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc. offers chamfer rings for 112 series small-diameter boring tools for sequence chamfers on bore diameters of 12.6 mm (0.496") to 31.7 mm (1.248").

Existing tools can be retrofitted to perform an additional fixed 45-degree chamfer in the same boring operation. The chamfer ring slides over the boring bar and is locked into place with a single screw. The rings are designed for 12-mm-diameter and 0.625"-diameter boring bars.

The rings are made from aluminum, so tool balance is minimally affected. Standard VC inserts are available for steel, cast iron and aluminum operations.
