NuSoL Alumax 89 is formulated to clean non-ferrous alloys; exotic ferrous alloys such as titanium, Inconel and Monel; plastics; and composites. It includes specialized additives that resist the negative effects of hard-water soap formation and aluminum soap formation from non-ferrous operations.

 

According to the company, the cleaner’s small and stable particle size of about 1 micron provides the wetting, detergency and boundary lubrication associated with its NuSoL metalworking fluids. NuSoL Alumax 89 also includes an additive package that demonstrates decreased foaming characteristics for typical use concentrations of 5-15 percent.
