Grieve’s No. 922 is an electrically-heated cleanroom cabinet oven for drying precision parts.
No. 922 is an electrically-heated 500°F(260°C) cleanroom cabinet oven from Grieve for drying precision parts. The oven uses 30-kW Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements to heat the 36" × 36" × 51" workspace.
The unit has 4" insulated walls, an aluminized steel exterior and a type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with continuously back-welded seams. The exterior is finished in white epoxy paint with a No. 4 brushed-finish stainless steel door cover and control panel face. The oven also features double doors and positive latching door hardware.
A 1,500 CFM, 2-hp recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the oven. Two 30" × 24" × 6", stainless steel, high-temperature HEPA recirculating filters further purify the air. The ductwork is designed to be easily removable for inspecting and replacing filters.
Controls on the oven include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and solid state contactors.
