Irco’s ecoPROFI bar-feed system, with sales, support and repair services provided by Lexair, is compatible with standard and Swiss-type lathes as well as machining centers and rotary transfer machines. The system delivers automatic, multi-sized bar feeding in an economical, small-footprint package suited for job shops and manufacturers looking to increase flexibility, productivity and efficiency.

The system circulates oil or coolant throughout the guide channels continuously to create a hydrodynamic effect to dampen and stabilize the bar for concentricity and spindle rotations per minute. It has 0.2” to 2” (5 mm to 50 mm) barstock capacity; a one-button guide channel change-over compared to 45 minutes or longer; three guide channels standard, expandable to six guide channels; standard lengths of 10’, 13’ and 20’ (3000, 4000 and 6000 mm); custom models available up to 33’ (10,000 mm) long and 5.1” diameter barstock; remnant retraction and ejection to the rear of barloader, and through the subspindle part unloading is also available.
