NSK America’s iSpeed 3 electric motor spindles are deisgned to enable Swiss-type CNC machines to mill at speeds up to 80,000 rpm with a spindle accuracy of less than 1 micron TIR. The low-maintenance, high-performance brushless motor delivers consistent, repeatable results built for lights-out manufacturing, according to the company. NSK offers both straight and flange-type spindles for tailoring a package for a customer’s specific machine and application.
