The Heavy Duty Round is the latest multipurpose reversible toolholder from Kaiser Tool Co.’s Thinbit product line, compatible with its full series of inserts for grooving, threading, face grooving and custom applications. The Heavy Duty Round reversible toolholder presets an insert parallel to the centerline of the shank and can be used as either right or left hand. Compatible with CNC, Swiss and conventional machines, this design is said to improve rigidity and increase cutting performance. Shanks are available in common standard and metric sizes.
